Expanded polystyrene, commonly called EPS, is a material derived from oil, for 98% made of air.
It’s solid and compact, light and flexible, it has got a high compression resistance and it can absorbe the shocks.
Due to its closed-cell structure it has an excellent heat endurance, as well as to salt, humidity, lots of acids and oils. It lasts unchanged in time and it is not toxic (it doesn’t contain CFC or HCFC), it’s hygienic and 100% recyclable.
